Minimum pay pursuant to the Minimum Wage Act

Since 1 January 2015, both German nationals and foreign workers sent across borders to Germany have been entitled to be paid not less than a minimum wage unless provisions of the Posted Workers Act and/or the Act on the Provision of Temporary Workers take precedence. The minimum wage from 1 January 2024 up to and including 31 December 2024 is at least 12,41 euros gross per hour. From 1 January 2025, the minimum wage will be 12,82 euros gross per hour.
