When exporting certain agricultural products from Germany to a non-EU country, legal provisions which stipulate the submission of specific documents must be observed.

Goods marked with a "G" in Part II of the Export List may only be exported if a valid certificate of conformity for fruit and vegetables, a disclaimer, or an authorisation can be shown.

The Federal Agency for Agriculture and Food (Bundesanstalt für Landwirtschaft und Ernährung, BLE) monitors conformance with the marketing standards and will issue the required documents if the conditions are met.
