Note concerning the European Union
With effect from 9 April 2014, Greenland has been included in the Union system of certification and import and export controls for rough diamonds. From that date on, the territories of the European Union and Greenland have been seen as a single area without internal borders, and therefore as one participant, for the purposes of the Kimberley process.
