The European Union has imposed measures against certain persons, groups, or organisations in some cases as a contribution to combating terrorism and in others to restrict business relations with individuals who have been made responsible, or who are responsible for the political situation in an embargoed country.

Neither may consignments from such persons, groups or organisations be received in the European Union nor may assets of any kind be made available to them.
