What is the period of deployment?

Period of deployment pursuant to Article 16 Minimum Wage Act (MiLoG), Article 18 Posted Workers Act (AEntG) , and Article 17b Provision of Temporary Workers Act (AÜG) in conjunction with Article 2 of the Ordinance on Minimum Wage Reporting Obligations (MiLoMeldV)

The scheduled period of deployment is the time span between the start of the first deployment and the end of what is expected to be the last deployment.

Example:
Employer X employs two workers within the period to which his notification relates, that is, 1 July 2015 to 25 November 2015.

Worker A starts the first of his deployments on 1 July 2015 and finishes his last deployment on 24 October 2015. His scheduled period of deployment, therefore, begins on 1 July 2015 and ends on 24 October 2015.

Worker B starts the first of his deployments on 15 August 2015 and finishes his last deployment on 25 November 2015. The scheduled period of deployment, in this case, begins on 15 August 2015 and ends on 25 November 2015.

The scheduled period of deployment for each individual worker may thus differ from the period of scheduling to which the employer’s notification relates. As the maximum period covered by such notification is six months, the total duration of each individual deployment schedule may not exceed six months either.
