Country-specific restrictions

Irrespective of whether they are subject to duties and taxes, the import into Germany of consignments from certain non-EU states is subject to restrictions. Before you dispatch goods to Germany you should check whether any foreign trade-related restrictions apply.

Embargo measures

Embargo measures prohibit, among other the restrictions, the import of some goods from certain countries into Germany, or they lay down authorisation requirements. Consignees in Germany may not acquire goods from listed persons.
