What is a domestic representative pursuant to the MiLoG and to the AEntG?

The domestic representative (verantwortlich Handelnder) is the contact person appointed by the employer who is available to the inspecting authority for answering questions. Possible candidates for domestic representatives include for example the construction manager, foreman or object manager and/or any agent of the employer entitled to exercise the authority to give directives. Also the owner or managing director of the company or any other person in a managerial capacity may be the domestic representative.
